𝐊𝐒𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐒𝐭𝐲, π‚π¨π­πšπ›πšπ­π¨ – The DENR-12 Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) Cotabato demonstrated its support by participating in the 2.5 millionth Tree Ceremonial Planting under the Canopy 25 Program, one of the highlights of this year’s 27th Charter Day celebration of Kidapawan City, held at the City Plaza.
Since 2023, the Canopy β€˜25 Program has led to the planting of 2.5 million trees in the forests and watersheds of Mt. Apo Natural Park (MANP), strengthening reforestation efforts under Luntian Kidapawan. Spearheaded by LGU Kidapawan with DENR-PENRO Cotabato and other partners, the initiative promotes community participation and environmental responsibility, ensuring a greener and more sustainable future for generations to come.
